Iron Horse Builders’ commitment to safety is imperative to our company’s mission to become the premier General Contractor in Houston.
Through an extensive safety and training program, we strive to maintain a safe workplace for our employees, subcontractors and field operators at all times. This program includes:
- A Clear, Written Safety Policy
- OSHA 10 Hour, OSHA 30 Hour, CPR, and First Aid Training
- Weekly Safety Meetings
- On-Site Safety Identification and Analysis
- Safety Audits and Inspections
All of our superintendents complete the OSHA 30 Hour course, and conduct weekly safety meetings in the field to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards. All of our field personnel have been fully trained in our Safety Program, which equips them to identify and address unsafe work practices. Each of our Superintendents also perform regular site safety inspections, while working with subcontractors to minimize risks and maintain productivity.
Our Managing Partner, Jed English, also leads a weekly Safety Committee meeting, and is fully dedicated to creating a company that embraces and benefits from safe operations. Jed and our Superintendents also perform routine safety inspections at all current projects across the Houston area.
